Soulful, captivating, and real, are just some of the words that describe the voice and talent of Angela Rose. When you hear her voice you hear the emotion of Amy Winehouse and the grace and elegance of Sade. This singer-songwriter has her roots in Neo-Soul and R&B. Her music is rich in feeling, poetic lyricism, and timeless groove.
She first emerged on the music scene in the early 2000s, opening for major acts such as John Legend, Lyfe Jennings, Omarion, Sean Paul, and Frankie J, just to name a few. She later released her first full-length project, A Woman Scorned. This project allowed Angela to showcase her writing skills.

After taking a music hiatus, Angela returns with a renewed artistry and creative purpose. Now working alongside super producer Chazz Oliver, she’s found a collaborative spark that has reignited her musical fire. “Chazz is the only producer I’ve ever worked with who has the ability to help me tap into my inner voice—providing the music that pulls out of me all of the work I’ve put in. I liken it to my voice and lyrics as colors—he paints them onto a canvas, making a beautiful picture.”
Influenced by artists like Jill Scott, Goapele, Toby Lightman, Eva Cassidy, and Sade, Angela’s style is a dynamic fusion of classic soul and contemporary edge. As she puts it “Music is who I am. I live and breathe for it. There are so many things that I have gone through and I just want to share my thoughts, my journey, and experiences. I just hope they can connect and help others”.
Her single, “And So It Was,” was just released on August 15, 2025, marking the beginning of a powerful new chapter in her career. So get ready to enjoy the vibe that is Angela Rose!
