Janay Saxon is a Portuguese (Brazilian), Dominican and Jamaican Singer-Songwriter. Born in the United states and raised in Connecticut, Janay Saxon has had the opportunity to work under Many Grammy Award Winning Producers such as Ryan "Ghost" Bowser, JArmz, The Real Charlamagne Tha God, Descemer Buenos, Juelz Santana, Snoop Dogg, Emmanuel Deanda (Pretty Ricky), Grandmaster Flash and many more major musical influences. 

 

At the age of 9 Janay Saxon started playing the piano and writing/composing lyrical pieces. She says her musical influences are artists such as Spice Girls, Mariah Carey, Amerie, Jasmine Sullivan, Missy Elliot, Sade, Roberta Flack, Koko Taylor and Ciara. Janay is able to play multiple instruments such as the piano, harp, violin, xylophone, koto, and the bongos. 

 

With those skills she is able to write for many genres such as R&B, Hip Hop, Blues, Gospel, Christian Worship, Bachata, Brazilian Funk, Country and Pop.

 

As fate would have it, Janays talents reached the ear of music producer Chazz Oliver. As Chazz puts it, “she has a voice that needs to be heard and her pen game is fire”. The next is history in the making. The two of them got together to create the magic of her debut EP simple called “Janay Saxon. This EP will take you on a ride filled with mood, vibe, and lyrical images. The 8 song EP has features from JU$T AM, Jett Bailey., and Chazz Oliver As always the production from Chazz Oliver is on point!
